Welcome crafty friends!

I'm very new to all this and still have a lot to learn. I have enjoyed browsing other peoples blogs and getting inspirition from their work. So decided it was time to share the projects they inspired.

Little Lena........

This tag I made for my daughter I was playing with paint and trying out image transfer techniques. This was really alot of fun. I then embelished of course with Stamps, Distress inks, Copic markers, Tattered florals die cuts, Spellbinders dies, Perfect Pearls, Cuddle Bug Embossing folders, embossing powders, Ribbons and bobbles.

I decided to enter in at Simon Says Stamp because the theme is anything goes. There are so many techniques on this tag it really belongs in this challenge. I always finish my tags on both sides and scent them so they can be hung on a rearview mirror or anywhere and both side are interesting.

  3. Hi Kat,

As one of the design team members on the Simon Says Stamp and Show team, I wanted to respond to your comment left of our blog about having the design team choosing the winner. I'm not sure where the confusion comes in, but we do spend a lot of time each week going through all the entires and voting on the top three. There is a random winner chosen for the $50 shopping spree, but for the top three, we all go through the entries and vote for our top 3 favorites. Hope that helps explain our process.

Your work is lovely. Thanks so much for sharing this with us! We're so happy you joined in the fun with us this week at Simon Says Stamp and Show!

  4. A great tag bursting with details, layers and love - and a darling image. As Linda shared, we do as a Design Team, take the time to visit everyone's blog and personally make our choices based on many factors such as creativity, skills, theme and originality. We are all in contact everyday sharing our views, thoughts and choices... it is a tough job choosing from so much loveliness. I'm glad you have joined us this week and wish you lots of inspiration and success!
Thank you so much for joining the Simon Says Stamp Show challenge.
